At Lyliapew, we take shipping seriously because our handcrafted tree-shaped wooden bookshelves are more than just products—they are carefully built pieces of furniture designed to last. Every order is handled with the goal of delivering your bookshelf safely, securely, and on time. This policy explains our shipping practices in detail, including how we prepare, process, and deliver your order, the associated costs, and what you can expect from start to finish.

1. Shipping Area

Currently, Lyliapew only offers shipping within the United States. By keeping our delivery area limited, we can better ensure safe transit and predictable delivery times for large wooden items. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes, military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO), or overseas U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico and Guam. Shipping large, handcrafted furniture requires ground carriers that can handle oversized packages, and for this reason, we only serve standard U.S. addresses at this time.

2. Shipping Costs

Because our bookshelves are substantial wooden products, each order requires careful packaging and sturdy materials to protect the wood during transport. To make costs clear and simple, we use a straightforward fee structure. Orders under $1,900 are shipped at a flat rate of $150, which covers packing materials, carrier handling, and reliable delivery anywhere in the United States. Orders above $1,900 qualify for free shipping, meaning you will not pay any additional shipping charges beyond the price of your products. There are no hidden fees, no shipping surcharges, and no additional taxes applied at checkout. The exact shipping charge is always displayed clearly before you complete your purchase.

3. Processing Time & Delivery

All of our bookshelves are shipped in flat-pack form, allowing them to be transported more safely and assembled easily once delivered. When you place an order, it first enters our processing stage, during which our team carefully inspects each component of your bookshelf, prepares the packaging, and adds protective layers to reduce the risk of scratches or dents. This stage generally takes 1 to 2 business days, not including weekends or U.S. public holidays.

Once the package is ready, it is handed over to the shipping carrier. Delivery times within the continental United States typically range from 5 to 6 business days, depending on your location. Customers on the East Coast may receive their orders more quickly, while deliveries to the West Coast or remote areas may take slightly longer.

Orders placed before 2:00 PM (CST) are processed the same business day, ensuring a faster turnaround time. Orders placed later in the day are handled the following business day. This cut-off allows us to prepare, pack, and hand over the bookshelf to the carrier without unnecessary delays.

4. Packaging & Assembly

At Lyliapew, every bookshelf is prepared for shipping with special attention to both safety and convenience. Because our tree-shaped wooden bookshelves are made from solid wood, they are shipped in flat-pack form to reduce the risk of damage and to make handling easier during transport. Each package is carefully packed with protective materials around every wooden panel and joint. Inside the box, customers will find all required components including the wooden sections, connecting hardware, and the tools necessary for assembly.

To make the process as smooth as possible, we include step-by-step printed assembly instructions along with a digital copy accessible through a QR code. The design of our bookshelves allows for straightforward assembly by one or two people, usually within 30–45 minutes, without requiring advanced tools. This approach ensures that the product reaches customers intact, while still being simple to rebuild into a sturdy and beautiful piece of furniture once delivered.

5. Order Tracking

Once your bookshelf has been shipped, we will send you a confirmation email. This message will include your unique tracking number as well as a direct link to the carrier’s website where you can monitor your delivery in real time. For large and heavy shipments like furniture, tracking updates sometimes take longer to appear. Please allow up to 24–48 hours for the tracking details to become active in the carrier’s system.

Our customer service team also monitors shipments closely. If you need assistance checking the progress of your delivery, you can always reach out to us and we will provide the most recent status directly from the carrier.

6. Damaged or Lost Goods

Despite our efforts to pack and protect each bookshelf, we recognize that transit for heavy wood furniture can sometimes cause issues. If you discover any damage upon delivery—such as cracks, scratches, or missing hardware—please contact us within 72 hours. To help us resolve the matter quickly, we ask you to provide your order number along with clear photos of the damage and the outer packaging. Once we have reviewed your case, we will either send replacement parts or provide a full replacement unit at no extra cost.

In rare cases where a package does not arrive, we treat the matter with equal seriousness. If your tracking shows no updates for more than 7 days and the package has not been delivered within 20 business days, we ask that you contact us immediately. We will work directly with the carrier to investigate and confirm the status. If the package is officially declared lost, we will reship your order at no charge or issue a refund if preferred.

7. Order Cancellation

Because our bookshelves are prepared and packed quickly after an order is placed, we encourage customers to request cancellation within 24 hours of purchase if needed. Orders canceled before they are processed or shipped will be fully refunded.

Once the order has been handed over to the carrier and a tracking number has been issued, cancellation is no longer possible. At this stage, the product is already in transit and cannot be recalled. If you still wish not to keep the product after it arrives, you will need to follow our Return & Refund Policy for guidance on how to send it back.

8. Returns & Refunds

We want every customer to be satisfied with their purchase, but we also understand that situations can change. Our Return & Refund Policy explains in detail how you can return an item once it has been delivered. Returns are generally accepted if the bookshelf is in its original condition, unassembled, and placed back in its protective packaging. Once we receive the returned product, we will inspect it to confirm its condition before issuing a refund.

For any returns related to manufacturing defects or shipping damage, Lyliapew will cover the cost of return shipping. For other reasons—such as a change of mind—customers are responsible for the return shipping costs. All refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5 business days after we receive and confirm the returned item.
